Kim Jong-un voiced support for Imran Khan?

Islamabad: A large number of social media users affiliated with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) believe that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has issued a statement in support of former prime minister Imran Khan.

A look at social media websites and TikTok clips suggests that the PTI supporters are being led to believe that the North Korean dictator has warned the Pakistani government against taking action against Imran Khan.

All the reports in this regard are fake as Kim Jong-un has not issued any statement about Pakistan or Imran Khan.

Any statement issued by Kim Jong-un in favor of a political leader would hold little significance as his own human rights record is terrible.

Hundreds of riot police surrounded Imran Khan’s residence and clashed with his supporters in bid to arrest him on Wednesday.

Police’s efforts were foiled by Khan’s supporters.
