New Metro City Gujar Khan declared illegal

Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority on Friday said the New Metro City Gujar Khan is an illegal housing scheme.

The RDA asked the public to refrain from making any investment in the illegal housing authority.

In an Urdu language statement, the RDA said that the sponsors and developers are running a misleading campaign through print and electronic media to mislead the people.

The authority made it clear that no approval for the New Metro City Gujar Khan was sought from the RDA.

The statement said the RDA would not be responsible for any loss incurred by the people who engage in any kind of dealings with the housing society.
