Text of Daily Mail apology to Shehbaz Sharif
Islamabad: British newspaper Daily Mail has apologized to Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif for incorrectly reporting that he stole money meant for Earthquake victims.
In a clarification and apology published online, the newspaper said that Sharif was never accused by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) of any wrong doing in relation to British public money or DFID grant aid.
The newspaper said they’re also removing David Rose’ article from their website.
