Meanwhile, Associated Press reported that South Carolina college students will not have pay more for in-state tuition next school year.

The report said a $9 billion budget passed by lawmakers included a $36 million boost to higher education funding after colleges and universities agreed to freeze in-state tuition.

Tuition Freeze

It is a government policy restricting the ability of administrators of post-secondary educational facilities (i.e. colleges and universities) to increase tuition fees for students.
