We regret publishing wrong story about Uzair Baloch’s death

This organization regrets publishing an incorrect report regarding the death of notorious gangster Uzair Jan Baloch in jail on Friday.

This news website wrongly reported that the former chief of banned Aman Committee died of a heart attack in jail. The news report was certainly a mistake by the staff who wrote a story based on rumors that should have been checked and double checked before publication. The staff was unable to follow this policy.We consider it part of our professional ethic to convey our regrets to our readers and the family of the person whose death was reported. 

Meanwhile, it has been learnt that Baloch has received treatment after reportedly suffering heart attack but he is said to be in a stable condition.
