A new approach to journalism

What did Khadim Hussain Rizvi say in his ‘fake’ viral video?

The Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakkstan has rejected as fake a controversial viral video of its Ameer Khadim Hussain Rizvi.

The party issued a statement after a clip of the cleric went viral, drawing strong criticism from social media users in Pakistan.

The video purports to show Allama addressing his followers before Azan (Adhan) is called out from a nearby mosque.

Social media users claimed that Khadim Hussain Rizvi spoke against a rival sect after handing over the mike to another person but his voice was recorded in the video.

In the video, a person is heard saying in Punjabi language that showing respect to Azan called by Wahabis is not necessary.

The TLP said the video is fake as Allama Khadim Rizvi is the staunch supporter of unity among Muslims.
