What happened between Sardar Tanveer Ilyas and Shehbaz Sharif before Centaurus Mall was sealed?

Islamabad: The Centaurus Mall was sealed in the capital for lack of safety measures, according to the local administration on Tuesday.

The Centaurus Mall is owned by the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, who is affiliated with the PTI.

The building was sealed a day after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was interrupted by Tanveer Ilyas during a ceremony at Mangla Dam when the Pakistani prime minister was delivering a speech in the presence of some foreign diplomats.

Shehbaz Sharif was seen asking the AJK premier to sit down, assuring him that he would listen to his grievances after his speech.

Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, however, continued protesting for a while before sitting.

On Tuesday morning, the authorities dispatched police contingents to seal the Centaurus Mall.

While hundreds of PTI supporters condemned the government’s action, PML-N workers shared an old video of what they called drunken Sardar Tanveer Ilyas.
