Who is new DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry?

Rawalpindi: Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry replaced Major General Babar Iftikhar as the new Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakiatan army.

The new DG ISPR is the son of nuclear scientist Sultan Bashiruddian Mahmood who brought Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan to Pakistan from Holland.

Sultan Bashir Mahmood had held a secret meeting with Khan after which the founding father of Pakistan’s nuclear bomb returned to his country.

After his retirement in 1999, Mahmood became a follower of Dr. Israr Ahmed.
