Why Kashif Abbasi is trending on Twitter?

ARY anchor Kashif Abbasi was trending on Twitter in Pakistan on Tuesday.

Twitter users accused him of blasphemy by posting an old video of his show aired on the private TV channel.

From the video clips shared on Twitter it turned out that he was being targeted for making funny remarks while hosting journalist Umar Cheema.

The anchor while mentioning Asad Umar and Umar Cheema jokingly said “all Umars are suspicious’.

Then all hell broke loose, with his critics imagining things that he didn’t say.
