Action initiated over video of woman claiming to be army officer’s wife

Peshawar: A video of an unidentified woman misbehaving with police officials in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has gone viral in Pakistan.

The woman is seen threatening a police officer in order to remove barricades on a main high way. She claims to be the wife of a senior army officer and warns the police officer of consequences if he doesn’t pave the way for her.

The viral video sparked outrage and became top Twitter trend in Pakistan.

Commenting on the matter, senior journalist Ajmal Jami said that disciplinary action has been initiated by concerned authorities.
