Agha Iftikhar ud din Mirza: Who’s the cleric and why SC took notice of his statement

Islamabad: Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmed has taken notice of Agha Iftikhar ud din Mirza’s viral video containing derogatory, contemptuous and scandalous language against the institution of Judiciary and judges, according to a press release issued by the apex court on Thursday.

The chief justice has fixed the matter in the court before the Bench-1 (Friday) 26.06.2020 at Islamabad.

The statement comes a day after Justice Qazi Faez Isa’s wife Serena Isa raised the issue of his threats in her complaint.
