Karachi: Hashtag #AirblueKissing became top trend in Pakistan as Twitter users posted funny memes about an “incident” which saw an amorous couple “caught” kissing on board a private airliner while travelling from Islamabad to Karachi.

Country’s aviation authority says they are investigating the matter after the couple’s public display of affection was reported by a passengers sitting behind the unidentified pair.

While social media remains divided over the matter, there is a large number of people who believe the couple’s PDA was recorded on camera.

For those asking for the “Airblue fight kissing video”, no such footage was made of the couple who defended their activity as their basic right when confronted by other passengers aboard the plane.
