ARY News Twitter account hacked

Karachi: The official Twitter account of ARY News Official was hacked on Friday.

The Twitter account of the private broadcaster was inaccessible on the micro-blogging website on Friday and the TV administration was unable to recover till Saturday morning.

ARY anchor sought Twitter’s help to recover the account in the wee hours of Saturday.

The cyber attack came days after Pakistani hackers attacked social media accounts of an Indian channel.

ARY has yet to make an statement about the hacking of its social media account.

Meanwhile, PEMRA has issued a show-cause notice to ARY over Khawar Ghumman’s report about Finance Minister Miftah Ismail.
