Ayaz Amir attacked a day after speech at PTI event

Islamabad: Veteran journalist Ayaz Amir was attacked outside the office of private broadcaster Dunya News.

The journalist and renowned columnist was assaulted a day after he delivered a hard hitting speech in front of Imran Khan at a PTI event.

The journalist became top trend on Twitter after his speech in which he criticized Khan and the military establishment.

Journalists’ bodies have condemned the attack on Ayaz Amir who said he was beaten up by unknown men.
