BOL News taken off air

Islamabad: BOL News was reportedly taken off air in Pakistan on Sunday.

While there was no notice from the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) regarding the ban, hundreds of people said they were unable to watch the private TV channel.

It was learned that the channel’s transmission was suspended after it allegedly live broadcast former prime minister Imran Khan’s speech.

The PEMRA on Saturday stopped TV channels from live broadcasting Khan’s speeches.
