Captain Kashif: Pak Army officer martyred in Balochistan IED blast

Quetta: A Pakistan Army captain was martyred in Balochistan when his vehicle hit an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Tobo, Gichik area of the country’s southwestern province on Sunday.

According to the army’s media wing, Captain Kashif was martyred while two soldiers were injured when security forces’ vehicle struck an IED planted by terrorists.

The injured were taken to a medical facility in Khuzdar for treatment. Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa also attended the funeral prayers for Captain Kashif.

As reports of Kashif’s martyrdom surfaced online, his friends shared the officers pictures and a screenshot of his WhatsApp message wherein he expressed his eagerness for martyrdom.
