CNIC 786: Who can receive Rs 2000 under Sasta Petrol Sasta Diesel Scheme?

Islamabad: In Prime Minister Shehbaz fuel relief package, women and their families earning less than Rs40,000 per month collectively, will be able to text their CNIC numbers on 786 or call that number to receive Rs2,000
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Finance Minister Miftah Ismail said families who are part of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) will automatically receive Rs2000 under the “Prime Minister Sasta Petrol Sasta Diesel Scheme.”

The households that are not part of the BISP database will have to send their identity cards numbers to 786 to check their eligibility.

The minister said that the id card number should belong to a woman as the money would only be transferred to the women head of the household.
