Amid the celebrations, fake news also started doing the rounds that Russian President Vladimir Putin watched the news of Imran Khan’s election win on TV.

A picture of Putin watching TV has also been widely circulated on social media.

The pictures are fake and are being shared with false claims.

Meanwhile, Putin is visiting Iran as he seeks to strengthen its ties with its traditional allies amid growing isolation over Ukraine war.
