Earthquake shakes Islamabad, other parts of Pakistan
Islamabad: A mild intensity earthquake struck Islamabad and other parts of Pakistan on Wednesday.
The earthquake was felt for a few seconds and sent people scurrying into the streets.
According to USGS, the 6.1-strong quake hit at the depth of 50.8 kilometer, with its epicenter lying 44 kilometer southwest of Khost, Afghanistan.
Tremors were also felt in Lahore, Multan, Quetta and several other areas of the country.
No loss of life and property was reported from Pakiatan.
