Eid-ul-Fitr 2020: State Bank will not issue fresh currency notes

The State Bank of Pakistan on Monday said it will not issue the fresh currency notes before Eid-ul-Fitr 2020.

The decision has been taken in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

The SBP said it will not issue new currency notes to stop the spread of COVID-19.
