Eid-ul-Fitr 2021 holidays notification is fake

Islamabad: A notification regarding Eid-ul-Fitr holidays doing the rounds on social media has been declared fake by the government of Pakistan.

The notification being circulated on social media said the government has announced Eid holidays from 13th May to 17th May, which is not correct.

The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has recommended the government announce Eid-ul-Fitr holidays from 10 May to 16 May.

The government, however, has yet to issue a notification regarding the Eid holidays.
