Fahad Hussain: Did you know the journalist also worked as Imran Khan’s assistant?

Islamabad: The appointment of seasoned journalist Fahad Hussain as Special Assistant to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has received mixed reaction from politicians and the journalist fraternity.

While most of the journalists lamented the fact that their community has lost a great professional, PTI leaders attacked Hussain for joining the government.

Shehbaz Gill was prominent among those who criticized Fahad Hussain, who is a nephew of senior politician Mushahid Hussain Syed, for becoming part of the government. Gill, however, deleted his tweet targeting Hussain.

He, however, failed to explain why the PTI government had appointed Fahad Hussain as former prime minister Imran Khan’s Focal Person on Information Analytics in 2020.
