Faizan Jattak’s killing in Quetta sparks outrage in Pakistan

Quetta: Killing of a young man allegedly at the hands of police in Quetta has sparked outrage in Pakistan, with people demanding government take action against officers involved in the murder.

According to reports, officials of Police’s Eagle Squad signalled a car to stop on Saryab Road. The police opened fire after the driver failed to stop the car. The deceased was identifed as Faizan Jattak whose pictures are doing the rounds of social media.

Senior Awami National Party leader Mian Iftikhar Hussain condemned the killing and called for action against those involved.
