Fawad Chaudhry resigns

ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has resigned from his position as part of cabinet reshuffle which earlier saw Asad Umar resign from Finance Ministry.

Chaudhry took to Twitter and wrote in Urdu that the Prime Minister has decided to introduce some changes in the cabinet. He said the Prime Minister House will make the announcement in this regard.

Tariq Bashir Cheema, Minister of Housing and Works, and Ghulam Sarwar Awan have also stepped down form their offices

Asad Umar’s resignation came as a shock to PTI supporters just a couple of days after the government had rejected the reports about his impending resignation as rumors.
