Fawad Chaudhry, Shaan, Ali Zafar called out for Wazir Khan mosque visit

Lahore: The name of Fawad Chaudhry, the Federal Minister for Science and Technology, became top Twitter trend in Pakistan on Friday after hundreds of people posted messages against him over what they said “desecration” of Wazir Khan mosque in Lahore.

Some users also attributed a fake news to the fire brand PTI leader as they called for action against him for supporting “Qadyanis”.

The outrage against Fawad stemmed from a video in which he is seen clapping while film star Shaan Shahid and singer Ali Zafar are dancing to a Sufi song outside the iconic Wazir Khan Masjid.

Fawad Chaudhry chose not to comment on the Twitter trend against him.
