Fawad Chaudhry’s Twitter account hacked

Islamabad: Twitter account of former information minister Fawad Chaudhry was hacked on Friday.

The PTI leader informed his followers about the hacking after a couple of tweets containing fake news were posted.

One of the tweets said Maulana Fazlur Rehan has died.

Fawad Chaudhry’s picture was replaced by Maulana Fazl’s photo while his cover photo which featured Imran Khan was replaced by Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz’s photo.

PTI’s digital experts said they were trying to recover the account.

Identity or affiliation of the hackers was not known.
