Fire breaks out at Fauji Fertilizer plant in Sindh

Karachi: A fire broke out at a Fauji Fertilizer plant in Sindh on Monday.

Fire reportedly erupted after an explosion at the plant. Cause of the fire and the losses it inflicted were not immediately known.

The Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC) meanwhile said in a statement that it has temporarily shut down its Mirpur Mathelo plant in Ghotki, Sindh, the location of fire.

In a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), FFC said this was due to a technical fault that occured at 23:05 PST on July 3.
