Former judge Rana Shamim’s son raises eyebrows with Shahzeb Khanzada interview

Karachi: Advocate Ahmed Hassan Rana, the son of former Gilgit-Baltistan chief judge Rana Shamim , left people scratching their heads with his interview on Geo News.

Hasan Rana is representing his father in the Islamabad High Court’s suo motu hearing into Rana Shamim’s claim that former chief justice Saqib Nisar had asked a high court judge not to give bail to Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz before the election of 2018.

In the lawyer’s interview on Geo News, he failed to answer most of the questions asked by the anchor.

He said he was told nothing by his father when Khanzada asked him how he was going to proof his father’s claims made in his affidavit.

Hassan Rana said his father met Nawaz Sharif before COVID-19 pandemic in London.

He said that his father had good relationship with Sharif. Social Media users were of the view that Hassan Rana has weakened his father’s with his TV interview.
