Govt asked to probe viral call between officials about PTI Long March

Islamabad: A purported leaked audio call between two alleged government officials have sparked outrage on social media.

According to senior journalist Amir Mateen he has also heard the tape, demanding the authorities to hold an inquiry to ascertain whether it is fake or authentic.

PTI workers are demanding the Supreme Court take notice of the ‘leaked tape’.

They claim that the tape contains a conversation between interior secretary and a high ranking police official.

They said that the secretary is giving instructions to police official to prevent the PTI from taking to streets during their Azadi March.

No government or police official have commented on the viral tape.
