Hamad Shamimi: What did he say to deserve an inquiry

Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has ordered an inquiry against a grade 21 officer for sharing a social media post against the government of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

The inquiry against Hamad Shamimi, Senior Joint Secretary Cabinet Division, would be conducted by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Director General Sanaullah Abbasi.

According to a notification issued by the government, the social media post shared by Hamad Shamimi read: “There is one more similarity between the PTI and Taliban. Both are thinking how to run their governments after coming into power.”
