Hub Dam collapse unlikely, poses no threat to Karachi

Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department said persistent rainy spell over Khuzdar, Lasbella and other northeastern districts of Balochistan and along Kirthar Range may create pressure on Hub Dam.

Weather experts have dismissed rumors regarding dam collapse.

“Reports about Hub Dam collapse and flooding of Karachi are baseless.There is no such danger or possibility for now, said an expert at Pakweather.com.
