Hyderabad: Rangers lauded for dispersing mob wanting to punish Hindu worker over blasphemy
Hyderabad: Paramilitary Rangers on Sunday saved a Hindu sanitary worker by dispersing a fanatic Muslim mob in the Sindh’s second largest city.
According to eyewitnesses, the mob demanded police hand over the man who they said committed blasphemy.
Police claim the sanitary worker was targeted because of a personal clash with a local resident.
Thousands of people praised the Rangers for stepping the mob from attacking the man.
