Imran Khan long march date yet to be decided

Islamabad: The federal government has made strict security arrangements in the capital in view of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf long march.

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has threatened to impose governor’s rule in provinces supporting Imran Khan’s long march.

He said that the PTI would be allowed to hold its protest at the F-9 Park.

Criticizing the government for placing containers in Islamabad, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said the party has not given any call for the long march.

According to a journalist close to the PTI, the former prime minister and his party leaders are divided over whether the long march should be launched.

He said that some PTI leaders think the party would hurt itself if it decides to bring a long march to Islamabad amid the devastating floods.

Others are of the view that the PTI should hold protests at the entry points of Islamabad.

Imran Khan is likely to share his future course of action at the Rahim Yar Khan rally on September 24.
