Imran Khan prepares documents to ‘sabotage’ new army chief’s appointment
Islamabad: Imran Khan has prepared some documents to disrupt the appointment of the new army chief later this month.
Investigative journalist Azaz Syed said that Khan’s decision to resume his long march is linked to the army chief’s appointment.
Citing sources, he said that Khan’s close aides have prepared the documents to make the appointment of the army chief controversial.
He refused to share further details.
The journalist admitted that Imran Khan is capable of making anything or anyone controversial.
Current Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa is due to retire on November 29.
Imran Khan said he will join his long march when it reaches Rawalpindi.
