Imran Riaz Khan caught in helicopter scandal

Islamabad: Anchor and YouTuber Imran Riaz Khan has been caught in a scandal involving illegal use of the helicopter owned by the Khyber Paktunkhwa government, NAB documents revealed on Thursday.

Other journalists who flew on the helicopter illegally include, Fereeha Idrees, Syed Wiqas Ahmad, Reham Khan and some photographers.

Imran Riaz, who is known for attacking every journalist critical of The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and goes as far as to call them “Lifafa”, used the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s helicopter multiple times.

The Executive Board of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has referred the case to KP government for recovery of the amount from illegal users of the helicopter and to take action against the delinquent officials who facilitated these illegal users.
