Islamabad Model Town disputed lands sealed after five murders
Islamabad: The disputed lands in Islamabad’s Model Tow society have been sealed after killing of two people from rival parties, Assistant Commissioner Anil Saeed told Dawn, country’s leading English daily.
He said that the police had referred the case to his court with a request for action and he ordered to seal the land to avoid further loss of life.
According to Dawn, a day after the killing of Raja Naveed, a co-owner of Model Town, his close associate Raja Rashid and his gunman Arshad were also shot dead on Saturday when they were on their way to a hospital to inquire after the health of a man who sustained injuries in Friday’s attack.
The newspaper reported that the dispute over land has so far claimed lives of five people.
