Islamabad Police deny arresting Sheikh Rasheed

Islamabad: Police on Tuesday dismissed reports about a raid on Sheikh Rasheed’s house in the federal capital.

In a statement, the police said there is no truth in the reports about the raid on Sheikh Rasheed’s residence.

The police said that a propaganda campaign is being run about arrests of political leaders.

The statement added that only a news released by the police spokesman should be considered authentic.

The police asked people not to heed to rumors.
