Karachi: Fire erupts at CHASE Jail Chowrangi
Karachi: A fire broke up in the warehouse of a departmental store of Wednesday.
Multiple fire fenders were dispatched to distinguish the fire at CHASE located near the famous Jail Chowrangi.
Videos posted by passers by show huge flames engulfing the building as the Fire Brigade workers rushed to douse the fire.
A man identified as Wasi, a resident of Gultistan-e-Jauhar lost his life in the incident.
Wasi had come to CHASE for a job interview and could’nt flee when the fire erupted because he was not aware of the exit points in the building.
His body was recovered with the help of CCTV cameras installed in the building.
