Karachi: Portion of Do Dorya restaurant ‘Qahwati’ collapses
Karachi: A portion of restaurant located at Do Darya collapsed on Monday.
The hotel named “Qahwati” was situated at Do Darya Phase-VIII Karachi.
According to police no injuries took place in the incident which saw the restaurant collapse after torrential rains.
They said that the restaurant was closed for a long time.
Citizens have expressed concern over the structures of the restaurants which are vsited by hundreds of people on daily basis.
Local administration has closed several other restaurants after the incident and sought guarantee from their owners that their hotels are safe.
