Karachi: Robbers shoot and injured man in DHA

Karachi: A man was shot and injured in Karachi’s DHA area when he tried to resist a robbery.

CCTV footage of the incident shows the moment a robber shoots a man at point blank range who attempted to intercept the robbery.

In the video, two armed robbers are seen holding a group of man at gun point before the victim confronts them.

In an effort to stop the man, one of the two robbers fires a shot and flees before robbing rest of the men of their phones.

Police have yet to comment on the in incident but a local journalist confirmed that the incident took place in DHA Phase 6 and the man who sustained a bullet was being treated.

The injured was identified as Sufyan Niazi. He was shifted to the South City Hospital in Karachi for treatment.
