Kashmir Road incident sparks anger in Karachi

Karachi: Thousands of people on Thursday called out authorities for their failure to curb street crimes in Karachi after a 28-year-old man was shot dead in front of his family.

CCTV footage of the incident show armed robbers shooting newly married Shahrukh in front of his mother and sister.

Police said that the slain was trying to stop the robbers from looting his mother and sister.

The police said that the robbers had chased the women who were travelling on a rickshaw.

The robbers held the women on gun point to loot gold and other valuables when Shahrukh came out of his home.

Police said they obtained the CCTV footage of the incident and would soon arrest the culprits.
