Lack of toilets in Zaman Park camps forces PTI workers to defecate in open areas says WASA

Lahore: The Water and Sanitation Agency Lahore (WASA) said it has received multiple complaints from the residents of Zaman Park which houses former prime minister Imran Khan’s residence.

It said the PTI supporters, who are camped outside Khan’s house, are defecating on footpaths, parks, green belts and main gates of private residences due to lack of sanitation facilities in their tents.

WASA said that the PTI workers are not allowing its vehicles to enter Zaman Park to clean the area.

The agency has requested that its workers and vehicles be allowed to enter the area to address the residents’ complaints.
