Major (retd) Adil Raja warned of lawsuit in UK by PML-N worker who won cases against ARY and Dunya News

London: UK-based Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz worker Nasir Butt said he would sue Major (retd) Adil Raja for the fugitive’s “lies” about him in connection with the murder of Arshad Sharif case.

Butt, who has won defamation cases against ARY, Dunya News and other private Pakistani TV channels, on Thursday said Adil Raja, a propagandist who recently received backlash for levelling allegations against Pakistani actresses, has blocked him on Twitter.

Nasir Butt wrote, “Adil Raja has blocked me because I exposed his lies about me and Arshad Sharif case but this will not stop me from taking him to court in UK soon. I am definitely suing him soon. Plz tag him and tell him that i will take him to cleavers. You are warned of lawsuit.”

A PML-N source said given Adil Raja’s track record, it is highly likely that he would apologize to Nasir Butt.

Major (retd) Adil Raja, who has moved to the UK, recently claimed that Army Chief General Asim Munir secretly visited the US. The ISPR on Thursday dismissed the report and said the army chief was on an official visit to the UK.
