Markhor: Maryam Nawaz trolled for using umbrella with ‘ISI logo’

Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz is being trolled after she was spotted using an umbrella with a former logo of ISI, the country’s premier intelligence agency.

In a widely circulated video, Maryam Nawaz is seen holding an umbrella with a Markhor sign.

Dozens of PTI workers shared the video with captions mocking the PML-N’s anti-establishment narrative.

“Maryam’s journey under the umbrella of Markhor,” a user captioned the video which was also liked by senior PTI leader Murad Saeed.

The Markhor is the national animal of Pakistan but it is no longer the insignia of the ISI.

The new logo contains an eagle which was commissioned by former Director General Lt.Gen Faiz Hameed.
