Marks & Spencer fooled into believing Shehbaz Sharif is a suspicious visitor

KARACHI: British multi-national retailer Marks and Spencer was fooled into believing that they were at risk of becoming target of a theft at the hands of none other than one of Pakistan’s top political leaders.

A twitter user had posted a video of the Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif visiting a store.

The video shows the PMLN leader moving towards the person behind the lens to shake hands.

Another Twitter user tagged Marks and Spencer’s Official Twitter account with a false warning by lying: ” Hello dear Be Aware, the guy in video is thief “.

Twitter handle of the major British multinational retailer thanked the Pakistani user and asked for further information on the man seen in the video.

” Thanks for getting in touch, Muhammad. Which store is this in, please? We’ll feed it back,” the M&S Twitter account replied.

Not aware of the exact location, the user responded ” This is somewhere in London”.

The user deceived the person behind M&S Twitter handle with a lie that Shehbaz Sharif has been caught in thievery in many places, specially in Pakistan.”

We were not able to independently verify the date and authenticity of the video.
