Mehr Tarar decides to join PTI

Islamabad: Mehr Tarar on Saturday announced to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, shortly after Prime Minister Imran Khan secured vote of confidence from the National Assembly.

The former TV show host and columnist is known as a staunch supporter of Imran Khan and often remains at the receiving end of criticism from Khan’s opponents.

Hundreds of PTI supporters welcomed her in the party fold and expressed the hope that she would continue to defend their leader.
