Military court convicts Idrees Khattak, three ex army officers of espionage

Islamabad: Four people including political activist Mohammad Idrees Khattak and three former military officials have been conviced of espionage for foreign intelligence agencies.

According to reports, Field General Court Martial sentenced Khattak to 14 years Lt. Col retd Faiz Rasool, 14 years, Lt.Col retd Akmal 10 years and Major retd Saifullah Babar to 12 years in prison.

Senior security officials have confirmed the court martial of a civilian and three ex-military personnel.
