MNA Ali Nawaz Awan sparks outrage for screaming abuses at Rohail Asghar in NA

Islamabad: Ali Nawaz Awan, a Member of the National Assembly and Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan on CDA Affairs, was on Tuesday filmed hurling abuses at PMLN-MNA Sheikh Rohail Asghar.

The lawmaker is seen uttering expletives as other MNAs intervened to prevent the rival party members from involving in a physical fight.

The video of Ali Nawaz Awan swearing in the lower house of the parliament during the budget session 2021 sparked outrage in Pakistan, with hundreds of social media users asking the prime minister to take action against him.

A the end of the session, Ali Nawaz Awan left the Parliament House to avoid the media persons who wanted to ask him about his fight with Rohail Asghar.

While hundreds of people condemned the lawmaker for violating the sanctity of the house, there were a large number of people who seemed to justify his act.
