Mufti Mahmood Ashraf Usmani, Taqi Usmani’s nephew, dies

Karachi: Mufti Mahmood Ashraf Usmani, the nephew of Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani and teacher of Sahih Bukhari at Darul Uloom Karachi, has passed away.

JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman contacted President of Federation of Arab Schools Mufti Taqi Taqi Usmani to express condolences on the death of Mufti Mahmood Ashraf.

Mufti Taqi Usmani also shared the news of his nephew’s death in a Twitter statement.

Hundreds of students of the cleric took to social media to pay tribute to their teacher.
