Mufti Qavi addresses latest controversy

Multan: Controversial cleric Mufti Qavi has opened up about his latest viral video that showed him indulging in an objectionable act during a video call.

The cleric has issued an explanation in a video message on social media, saying the viral clip does not show him because he has a different physique than man shown in the video.

Mufti Qavi said he has been using a feature phone which to communicate, adding that the video was a conspiracy against him.

He said the video was apparently released to divert attention from Mufti Azizur Rehman scandal in Lahore.
